This book is for beginning and early intermediate guitarists. No prior playing experience or note reading ability is required. The solos are written in both standard notation and tablature. While writing the arrangements, the author considered the small hands of children. Every arrangement is in the first position and there are no hand stretches that present inordinate technical difficulties. The book contains an interesting and varied selection of familiar short tunes. Every song in the book is included on the companion CD. Each tune is recorded twice in stereo and includes count-off notes and rhythm guitar accompaniment.
