This is a reprint of a work by well known historian and economist V.V. Sviatlovskii (1896-1927) first published in 1902. The monograph analyzes the housing problem and possible solutions for several Russian cities. This book is about the history of public housing in the country, the spectrum of it, methods of financing, and a variety of complementary solutions. Comments.
