The Battle of the Caucasus in 1942-1943 are at once glorius and tragic pages in the history of Soviet military intelligence. The faced enemies in Afganistan, Bulgaria, Iram, Turkey, Germany and Sweden, carried out intelligence-diversionary operations in the foothills of the highest mountains in the Caucasus, on the shores of the Black Sea and inthe cities of the North Caucasus. One of the them became Hero of the Soviet Union, the others fought and died in anonymity, unknown warriors of military intelligence.
