All the tracks have been drawn from JOHN DU CANN"s personal tape archives: he has also supplied unseen band photos of himself and the late VINCENT CRANE and the late PAUL HAMMOND. To the un initiated Atomic Rooster was a band that never realised their full potential. To the informed Atomic Rooster rate alongside DEEP PURPLE and achieved what very few heavy rock bands did at the time-2 Top Ten singles. Volume 2 follows on from the 1999 release by Angel Air "The First 10 Explosive Years" SJPCD 038. Sadly there will not be a Vol.3, as John has no further tracks to release, as with the very sad deaths of both of his colleagues there were no more recordings. Sit back though and enjoy Vol.2, which includes a previously unreleased track "Broken Window" which was the very last track ever recorded by the power trio of Du Cann, Crane and Hammond-Squawkin!
