A prime example of the artful rock of Sweden´s Prog Champions BEARDFISH is their new album Mammoth. The style of the new album ranges from riff based hard rock to mature epics, some of which even contain swinging saxophone. Songs based on light, poppy melodies intermingle with sophisticated hard rock and Swedish jazz from the `60s. More so than any previous release, Mammoth is a full band effort, with contributions coming from all members during the writing process. The new recording shows that the foursome are by no means resting on their laurels, as Mammoth is brimming with an amazing sense of detail and is sure to please fans of Prog Rock both young and old.
