Thirteen special hot keys are included to optimize use with an iPad. Those hot keys include: iPad search, brightness up/down, photo, virtual keyboard, previous or next track, play/pause, mute, home, lock screen, and volume up/down. Model 9010 is a high-quality keyboard with scissor-action keys for excellent tactile feedback. The Model 9010 battery is rechargeable from a powered USB port or the AC adapter with USB interface provided. A 30-inch- long USB charging cable is provided that automatically retracts to a compact 4 inches for easy portability and storage. Model 9010 is compact (8.6 X 3.6 X .8 inches), and light enough (7.7 ounces) to be easily carried anywhere. The wireless range when used with an iPad is 30 feet.
