The Trek-Tech MagMount STAR is a full-featured ball head with innovative MagConnect STAR quick release system. The MagMount STAR uses a powerful neodymium magnet and STAR (Square Tooth Anti Rotation) technology to hold equipment up to 9lbs. The integrated TrekLock rotating safety clip secures your equipment mechanically to the ball head. Use the smooth MagAdapter on lightweight point and shoot cameras, and the STAR MagAdapter on DSLR and heavier devices. Instructions: Screw the MagMount STAR ball head onto the 1/4 inch-20 mounting stud on your device. Then screw the appropriate MagAdapter to the mounting threads in the bottom of your camera or other device. The light force MagAdapter can be screwed in with a coin, the MagAdapter STAR should be screwed on using the provided allen wrench. TrekLock securely closes to secure camera. To use the ball head, loosen the locking lever on the MagMount for repositioning.
