A Semi-Ball becomes a tripod and more... BasicBall... the solid base for your camera, for the Novoflex Pan-Tilt-Head D IN O, for the Novoflex MagicBall, for any other Ball and Socket Head. The Multifunctional Base serves as a mini-tripod for taking pictures at ground level by using the standard legs, as a normal tripod by using the telescope rods, as support for your flash, microphone, etc. Nine different screw threads for the tripod legs fix the height at 2.4" (6 cm), 5.7" (14.5 cm) or 8.3" (21 cm). With additional extension legs the max. height is 13" (33 cm). The BasicBall is designed for all ground level photography and its max. load capacity is 55 lbs. (25 kg). The use of the Novoflex telescope rods transform the BasicBall into a monopod, aduopod or a tripod. In combination with three Novoflex telescope rods the BasicBall provides an ideal tripod for all trekking-tours avoiding excess weight. The variable heigth with the Novoflex telescope rods reaches from a mimimum of 24" (61 cm) to a maximum of 51" (130 cm). This tripod weighs only 2.4 lbs. (1100 gr). Each Novoflex telescope rod is supplied with a wooden knob which covers the 1/4" tripod thread and a strap. Only the Novoflex telescope rods fit to the BasicBall.
