The Yarden Gewurztraminer presents attractive litchi and passion fruit notes layered with floral, citrus, green pear and green apple characters, rounded out with hints of exotic spice. Just off-dry, this medium-bodied wine displays pleasing varietal character. Though ready to drink now, Yarden Gewurztraminer will improve over the first 18 months from harvest, and will remain in good drinking shape for some three years from vintage. Enjoy the wine alone as an aperitif, or paired with spicy Thai chicken, thin-crust pizza topped with Gruyere cheese and a sprinkling of chopped dried mango, or a good Indian curry.
