Searching for answers, a phone number scrawled in a matchbook leads Kat to Adam Quantrall, the enigmatic president of Cygnus Pharmaceuticals. With Adam as her only lead, Kat agrees to help him search for his missing daughter in exchange for his aid investigating the drug. At first drawn to his charm, when lab tests come back identifying the killer narcotic as a Cygnus drug, Kat then finds Adam"s claims of ignorance hard to swallow.
