Ryosuke, Kotomi, Mirai, and Naoki are four Japanese twenty-somethings who share a small, crowded two-bedroom apartment. They"ve all come to Tokyo with big dreams--except life isn"t exactly panning out as expected. Ryosuke, the son of a sushi-restaurant owner, is a junior in college studying economics and sleeping with his best friend"s girlfriend. Kotomi doesn"t have a job, or, really, much of a life: she followed her high school boyfriend to Tokyo. He"s become a huge TV star and keeps her hidden from the media, so instead she spends all day watching his show, waiting for him to call. Mirai"s a talented illustrator with a major drinking problem and Naoki"s an aspiring filmmaker who usually keeps them all together--until Mirai"s bad partying habit brings handsome Satoru into their home, and his arrival sets off a chain of events that reveal all of their darkest secrets.
