The primary goal of bioinformatics is to increase the understanding of biological processes. What sets it apart from other approaches, however, is its focus on developing and applying computationally intensive techniques. Currently, different programming languages are being used in bioinformatics to develop innovative analysis tools ranging from sequence analysis to evolutionary studies.This book describes the development of sequence analysis software that provides sequence analysis tools required by researchers of different research fields.
