This Gospel is for anyone who wants to get out of this world alive. Jesus said, "This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come." He is emphatic about what is to be preached and where it is to be preached. He then prophesies the consequent result of preaching "this gospel" to the whole world: the end will come. After the apostles received the gospel from the Lord, they issued a strong warning to any who would pervert, distort, or preach a gospel contrary to what they preached.
