This book contains the eleven essays by Huxley on evolution. Huxley was known as "Darwin"s Bulldog", so called because he was a great advocate of Darwin"s evolution theory. He was also made famous as a result of his debate with Samuel Wilberforce in Oxford on 1860, a debate caused wider acceptance of the theory of evolution.
