We all have said at one time or another, "I want to know the truth." In the movie, An Officer and a Gentleman, Jack Nicholson declares in the courtroom, "You can"t handle the truth!" What he said is sometimes true. Truth uncovers things that we sometimes want to keep hidden. This keeps us in lies. In John 8:32, Jesus says, "And ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free."
