When World War One broke out in 1914, the British government called for volunteers to fight for King and Country. Over a million men rushed to join this volunteer army, hoping for a great adventure. Henry Chew was one of those young men. Follow his travels from Scotland to Egypt, Egypt to the Somme, through the mud and the hellish battles in France and Belgium that nearly cost him his life.
