SUPERHIGHWAY Rocco and his family are moving to a house near the new face of the Superhighway, the link that joins all the villages underground. Grandad was a pioneer of the Highway. Anxious to be in their new home they drive the Superhighway, the adults in the front of the old pick up and children and furniture in the back. A slip on the highway a sudden brake and the children fall out and are left behind. Alone and frightened Molly and Turmole are on the surface, scooped up by a huge earth moving machine. Then they meet Carmole, just like them a mole. But Carmole"s boyfriend, is a weasel who hides a secret. While their distraught father, and his friend Bill search frantically for them, Molly and Turmole are captured. The safety of the mole kingdom is at stake, a fight for honour and desperate measures are called for, to safeguard the mole community.
