Ethan Brick, coming from a Civil War battle in Mississippi from a special unit of the 5th Texas Mounted Rifles as a cavalry soldier, is badly wounded and is sent home to die. He then begins a journey to discovery from the oblivion of a field surgeon"s knife to find love, faith and Jesus that he once called Nobody. Adventure and a bright future calls out if only he can stay alive and keep moving towards his final destination.
