In the sleepy town of Silver Lake, Pennsylvania, Officer Jim "Mitch" Mitchell knows all and sees all on his daily beat. When a mysterious cell phone dead zone crops up on his daily rounds, he"s quick to investigate. Meanwhile, unbeknownst to Mitch, a terrorist plot hatched by self-proclaimed global patriots is underway in Silver Lake. Using highly advanced signal-blocking technology to program several nuclear devices somewhere on the planet, the group plans to detonate their devices on the Fourth of July. At the same time an ocean away, the Vatican calls upon a specialist to inspect recently unearthed specimens that could validate the spearhead used to pierce Jesus"s side and an ossuary that could contain the remains of Jesus and Mary. When their Vatican archeologist begins to authenticate the discovery himself, he"s quickly rushed to Rome along with the artifacts for a closer inspection.
