Sir Frank Ignatius Fox (1874-1960), who also wrote under the pseudonym C. H. Kirmess, was a British journalist and author. His father, an editor, took the family to Australia in 1883. Frank became editor of the Australian Workman, the National Advocate, and worked for the Daily Telegraph, Truth, the Bulletin, the Call and the Lone Hand. Living in London later, he wrote for many newspapers including the Morning Post, The Times, the Daily Mail and became assistant editor of the Morning Post. He travelled a great deal and publishing many travel books. He served during the First World War.
