Scofield's cohorts here include the outstanding jazz guitar innovator Bill Frisell, acoustic bass legend Charlie Haden, and drummer Joey Baron--all of whom are capable of being both explosive and tastefully subtle. Above all, the interaction between the two six-string wizards, Frisell and Scofield, is outstanding.
