"Here is a piece ot work from a woman from a "developing" country, who dares to critically appraise the paradigm of development which for at least 30 to 40 years has been the anchor of hope for most people in Asia, Africa, and South America. She demolishes this anchor for many reasons, but particularly from the perspective of her mother and her motherland, Thailand, where development has instead destroyed good life for the majority, above all for women and nature.
