This book displays and dissects the career and design motives of graphic designer Joost Grootens. A monograph that works like an atlas, it charts in a systematic and neutral fashion the first 100 books designed by Grootens in the past 10 years. In three different chapters Grootens traces the course of his career, dissects his own book designs and shows at actual size a number of spreads of books he designed.
