Life. Remembering Liz

Elizabeth Taylor was born in 1932 in London. LIFE magazine was born in 1936 in New York City. The Taylor family moved to Los Angeles in 1939, and not long thereafter young Elizabeth was making movies. Life took notice, and has been noticing ever since. Ours was a match made in celebrity heaven. With the passing of this great movie star, philanthropist and-bona fide, in her day- living legend, it is our pleasure as much as our duty to celebrate her glorious life.
