Physical Planning ensures compatible land uses, guarantees orderly development and provides functional and visually pleasing environment and satisfactory services in a sustainable manner. The inadequacy in physical planning management led to Non Adoption and Utilization of Modern Planning Approaches, Outdated and Outmoded land use Planning Policies, Laws and Regulations, Inadequate Manpower, Planning Data, Master Planning, Poor and Inadequate Funding, Inadequate Institutional Framework for land management and Development Control within settlements in Nigerian cites.
