This book is designed to provide you with a non-traditional way of “discovering” your true calling in life. It is designed to help you move beyond the traditional “test-them-and-tell-them” matching model that is so prevalent today in use today by school counselors, college counselors, and career counselors. Chapter 1 describes intuition and how intuition works. In this chapter, you will learn how to opening up your intuitive channels to enhance your intuitive powers in making career decisions. Chapter 2 will describe the difference between logical, left-brain thinking and intuitive, right-brain thinking. In addition, this chapter will examine a plethora of career activities that will help you switch your thinking from your logical left brain to your spiritual right brain including drawing, doodling, visualization and the use of imagery. Chapter 3 will examine the importance of leisure-time interests in career development. This chapter will also describe ways for exploring your leisure interests as a way of implementing your calling. Chapter 4 will explore the impact of energy on your career choices, decision making, and implementation. This chapter will present the Mayan Energy System as a way of implementing your occupational choice. Chapter 5 will help you put all of the work you have done into a holistic picture of your true calling.
