The significant and fascinating contributions to the study of dentistry in pre-Columbian Mexico are presented here together with findings from X-ray studies of actual teeth proving that the mutilations and inlays were made during the lifetime of the individuals. Also included are available sources for the study of pre-Columbian dentistry.
