acqueline Olaitan Shobola, aka "Jacqui S" was born in Tampa, Florida on December 25, 1993. The second child in a family of three children, Jacqui has an older brother, Michael and a younger sister, Kendra. Jacqui"s father, Kenneth Shobola, is a pharmacist entrepreneur who along with her mother, Omaemo (an attorney) discovered her very rare talent at a very early age. She participated in school singing talent contests where she excelled and received accolades for her exceptional performances. Her teachers encouraged her to take voice lessons and both parents acquiesced. She continued to develop her God-given talent of singing throughout her career at Citrus Park Christian School where she enjoyed assuming "lead" roles in group performances. Jacqui went on to participate in a number of pageant shows and group events prior to and after changing elementary school to Farnell Middle School in Odessa, Florida. The highlight of her involvement with audience entertainment came when, as part of a core group at a dancing school she attended for extracurricular activities, she ended up participating at The Tampa Bay Performing Arts Theater in Tampa, Florida in front of an audience of approximately five thousand people. Her singing and dance group won the contest and she played a highly significant role in their overall success. Constantly on honor roll at school, Jacqui also participated in a lead capacity at singing performances with the "teen/youth" ministry at Christ Apostolic Church of Tampa Bay Florida. Fascinated with performing on stage, she took roles in the drama ministry of the same church and her stock rose significantly when she performed a "solo singing act" which brought most of the congregation to tears with her mastery and control of the music rendition. Energized by the constant acknowledgements of others and encouragement of family, Jacqui started writing her own music at the age of fifteen and following a final performance at church, she convinced dad that it was time to go to the studio. Dad did not need much convincing, but Jacqui had to promise that she would still pursue a career in pediatrics, as this was always her passion outside of music. An ardent Christian; outgoing; with an extrovert personality, Jacqui has had singing performances at different settings, namely at Victory Deliverance Center, Auburndale, Florida; where she sang in concert with her stepmother, Mrs. Joyela Shobola (who is also a teen ministry teacher at Christ Apostolic Church, Tampa, Florida); also had a surprise debut performance of her hit single "Your Time to Shine" at her cousin"s (Femi Shobanjo) wedding in the Hyde Park Hilton hotel in London, England
