It certainly is easy to buy into the mantra the world is going to hell in a hand basket, based on the prolonged economic crisis around the world. That old saying seems almost prophetic when you factor in the recent tsunamis, hurricanes, earthquakes, and ongoing wars in the Middle East. So, is the world really going to end on December 21, 2012?
