A former student of Bobby Shew, Beeson displays chops a-plenty on classic jazz works such as Charlie Parker"s Confirmation and Kenny Barron"s Voyage, Triste by Antonio Carlos Jobim, You Stepped Out of a Dream and The Masquerade Is Over. Seven original compositions by Beeson complete the program.
