This is a double-sided, Z-shape uncapping knife that is used to be heated and easily cut wax cappings off from the frames for honey extraction. TIP: Dip the uncapping honey scraper knife in hot water in between cuts to keep the knife in a heated state. For convenience, we recommend having TWO knives on hand so that you can switch blades as you use them. Keep one in the hot water and when the knife you are using cools off, simply switch out the tools.
