Reviewers have called A Thousand Bridges a taut political thriller and a mystery novel. I think of it as a love story with a lot of death in it. It was released by Walker Books, NYC, in a hardbound edition, and was chosen by Library Journal as one of their Top Twenty First Novels of the year, something that delivered the novel to libraries all across the country where it was listed as a Mystery Novel.
