Shad Wakefield and his friend Abe Featherstone head south once more to New Mexico Territory. This time they"re on the trail of Judge Madison"s killer. However, they find that Madison"s murder isn"t a straight-forward act of revenge as they"d been lead to believe. It was part of a plan by conspirators to steal the judge"s ranch and other properties. What"s more, the life of the judge"s daughter is at stake. A girl that no one other than Abe knew existed.
