Valente, Caterina in London

Caterina Valente "In London" presents twenty swinging up-tempo numbers along with moody and sensitive interpretations of lounge-jazz tracks. These were recorded in 1963 at the London Decca Studios with an orchestra of up to 30 musicians under the direction of UK conductor Johnny Keating. Keating had made a name for himself with compositions for Percy Faith, André Previn, Stan Keaton, Nancy Wilson and Shirley Horn, among others. His arrangements were performed by artists such as Bing Crosby and Sammy Davis Jr.
