This fantastic kit has everything you need to make your very own Sparkling Dream Catcher. Dream Catchers were made by native American Indians and placed by children"s beds. They were thought to catch nightmares in their web, which would disappear at the light of day and let all the good dreams filter through. Often the Dream Catchers were decorated in the centre with an eagle feather for men (strength) and owl feather for women (knowledge) but as these birds became protected, beads were used instead. The feathers were meant to keep babies amused when the wind fluttered them and symbolised breath or air. Dream Catchers became very popular in the 1960"s and 70"s and are still loved today and hung in homes and cars as beautiful objects and symbol of the American Indians!
