ROLAND KIRK Third Dimension (Rare original 1962 US 7-track deep groove mono vinyl LP on Bethlehem formerly entitled Triple Threat [& released on the King label in 56] this was Kirks debut album. It features the first recorded examples of Kirks trademark playing of multiple wind instruments at the same time plus early overdubbing techniques backed by James Madison [piano] Carl Pruitt [bass] & Henry Duncan [drums]. The pasted sleeve is tape reinforced at both edges [splits are evident] but is otherwise a respectable VG example. The heavyweight vinyl has been professionally cleaned & easily meets an excellent grade with just light signs of play. Magnificent! BCP-6064)
