STORMBRINGER are certainly at the beginning of an interesting career. Above all they create themselves the feat, not to get lost in the usual redneck block, but simply makes that, what they can quite obviously do best: pure and openspoken Heavy Rock with combination of a talent into absorbing Songwriting. Swell! The quick Opener " Old Mans Words" follows the long-known " Mistreated" , (half) ballad-like " Johanna" with his ZEPPELIN-like conclusion part, the heavy " Gates"s OF Marakesh" , the blues-like " Dark Dreams" and with the infinitely brilliant " When They Came" anyway even five tunes, which angle from their basic adjustment rather in more leisurely waters.
