Mark"s first true solo album, released in 2005. Starting with the epic folk-rock of "Old Moon / Lunatic" (over 7 minutes long), the album is full of contrasts: from the delicate groove of "The Chain Goes On" to the 20"s-style folly of "Moonlight". "Maybe May" could almost have been written by McCartney or Neil Finn. "Your Father" is the heart-rending testament of a remorseful divorced dad. A diamond that"s rough around the edges in places but Brenner"s killer sense of melody always shines through.
