Alfred Eino Rautavaara was a Finnish opera singer ( baritone ). After attending trade school to begin with, and after several years in business, he took a couple of music in 1900. Rautavaara studied singing abroad on several occasions: in Rome in 1903-1906 and 1910, in Berlin in 1906, Paris in 1909 and Milan in 1911 and 1914. He worked at the rock church cantor since 1912 and singing teacher at the Helsinki Music Institute in Helsinki from 1907 to 1909, and Church Music Institute since 1922. Rautavaara was a founder of the Finnish opera, and he was also one of the first Finnish artists recorded the song. Rautavaara"s recordings are from the years 1905 - 1909 . Eino Rautavaara married since 1927 was a Licentiate in Medicine, Elsa Catherine Steel Kick ( 1898 - 1944 ). Their son is a composer Einojuhani Rautavaara .....SEE PRODUCT IMAGE FOR TRACK LIST.
