Uniquely designed book with works by contemporary artist Ton of Holland.Artist Ton of Holland visited Berlin in 90 days, 90 different sorts of (gay) parties in bars, clubs, halls, factories and illegal dens and caves. He also visited theaters, music and "arti" performances. He closely observed the gay scene and then made 90 unique drawings that give a wonderful picture of this exceptional entertainment circuit.The entire series gives a contemporary, fresh, bright and almost dry and analytical overview of existing persons drawn in a special situation. All drawings usually focus on a person and are stripped of the mass around it. They are displayed on a white background, while the locations were very dark. That gives both substantively and literally analienating and very clear picture.
