Xu Yuanchong, born in Jiangxi, China in 1921, is a translator of Chinese ancient poems into English and French. His translation style is characterized by favoring domesticating translation. It is the first time that the ancient Chinese poems translated into English by Xu Yuanchong are collected and published. Approximately 500 poems from different dynasties in ancient China are included. It is a Chinese-English edition, and Pinyin is available, too. The series is composed of 10 volumes: Book of Poetry.
