Shrek is an easy-going ogre, he just wants to be left alone and live in his swamp in peace. He’s not a fan of other people, or animals and has no problem getting rid of the occasional torch-wielding villagers that want Shrek out of the village. Shrek’s swamp is soon to have visitors as the power-hungry Lord Farquaad banishes a horde of fairy-tale characters and they seek refuge in Shrek’s swamp. There is only one way that Shrek can get back his idyllic, introverted lifestyle; to go on a quest and rescue the beautiful Princess Fiona from her dragon-guarded castle.
