It was smart of the authors and editors of this book to open with a chapter on improving flying skills applicable to most flight simulators. The second half of the chapter deals with advanced skills applicable to only the most realistic simulators. Then come the detailed tips for each game. Most are aviation oriented (including Tower, a flight controller sim), but not all. There are three drive racing simulations as well as the Silent Hunter submarine sim. The book comes with playable demos of 11 simulations, plus two complete games, and a free six-month subscription to Computer Games Strategy Plus magazine.
