In the Pacific Northwest, Kate Saunders (Kim Delaney) has just finished writing her second novel about a serial killer. Partially paralysed from a parallel situation which occurred years before, Kate is shocked to discover that a copycat killer has begun terrorising her town. She must expose the murderer before he can bury her once and for all.
