Carpet substrates are also low maintenance and mess free. Cage Carpet is soft and absorbent (unlike astro-turf type plastic carpets) and can be cleaned for repeated use. Cage Carpet is also a good solution for any reptile which has an injury, infection or has had surgery as it will not irritate or damage any healing wounds. Zoo Med Cage Carpet can allow you to better monitor what your reptile is eating, as any missed items of food will be on top of the carpet and not mixed in with substrate.
