Not all animals build a home for their young, but those that do usually have babies who need to be looked after for quite a time. Lift the flaps on the pages of Animal Homes and find nests, dens and burrows, which animals and birds might build to protect themselves. Animal Homes is an excellent book and young children will find lots of information waiting to be discovered beneath the flaps. Find baby otters in their den, and chimpanzees in their leafy nests. The illustrations are delightful and really make the animals come to life.
