A horror inspired by Edgar Allan Poe, which finds a gifted surgeon Doctor Richard Vollin, obssessed with surgical instruments. When a young woman spurns his advances after he has saved her life, he decides to take revenge. Colluding with an escaped murderer Vollin eventually becomes a victim of his own plans.
