The authors also provide thumbnail descriptions of the various islands, which include the Frommer"s "Best Of" lists, aiding your selection with round-ups of the top beaches, camping, family accommodations, adventures, cultural experiences, and low-cost destinations. Once you"ve made your major decisions, the island-specific chapters provide the details, with reasonably priced accommodations, dining, beaches, nature hikes, tours, camping, shopping, and nightlife. There"s also an appendix on Hawaiian history and food, culture, language, and flora and fauna.
