This book is written as a grammar text for foreign students who have studied Chinese for two or more years and attained the intermediate level in the Chinese language. It provides a basic outline of Chinese grammar, a general description of the principles and unique features of Chinese grammar, so that students can have an overall understanding of the Chinese grammar. This book consists of nine chapters including functional analysis, comparison of words, syntactic structure and sentence types along with practice exercises.
